On 17 October 2025, we marked the 97th birthday of our Founder Chairman, Shri L. N. Jhunjhunwala.
The occasion set the tone for the Diwali celebrations that followed, bringing a shared spirit of positivity and gratitude.
It was a time to reflect on the values that continue to guide our decisions and define how we grow together. He established RSWM Limited in 1960, when Bhilwara was a modest trading town. His purpose was clear: to build an enterprise that creates opportunity and strengthens communities through honest work and long-term vision.
That vision transformed a modest town into a textile epicenter and a company into a legacy.
He often says that an organisation stands strong when its people stand together. His belief in relationships, discipline, and responsibility has defined how RSWM grows with purpose.
A mathematician by education and a lifelong student of astronomy and philosophy, he continues to learn with curiosity and discipline.
A devoted follower of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, he lives with quiet faith, simplicity, and grace.
Even in an age of constant connectivity, he lives without a smartphone, a quiet reminder that focus builds clarity.
A philanthropist and author, Shri Jhunjhunwala has devoted his life to service, education, and the advancement of society, carrying forward his belief in service as the highest form of success.
As we mark his 97th year, we celebrate a legacy that began as one person’s clarity and became a company’s compass.
