Blades of Change: Adani Alliance Powers RSWM’s 60 MW Solar Momentum
With AESL’s 60 MW solar power integration, RSWM advances its transition toward a cleaner energy mix and long-term operational resilience.
RSWM Limited has taken a decisive step in its clean-energy transition by signing a 60 MW solar power supply agreement with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL). Announced on 5 November 2025, the partnership reinforces RSWM’s move toward stable, efficient, and renewable power across its textile operations.
The agreement supports three priorities under RSWM’s sustainability and RSWM 2.0 framework:
- Higher renewable integration across units
- Reduced energy dependency on conventional sources
- Operational resilience with long-term cost optimisation
RSWM, currently at 33% renewable integration, is powering ahead to 70%—outpacing the national average of 31%. The power-supply addition strengthens RSWM’s pathway toward responsible manufacturing and aligns with national clean-energy goals. The development has already received wide industry and financial media coverage, reflecting its strategic significance for the company and the sector.
What this means for RSWM
- Improved energy mix balance
- Lower carbon footprint
- Stronger ESG alignment
- Consistent, sustainable operations supporting future growth
