RSWM at PHDCCI Summit: Focus on Circular Production
Focus on measurable results: energy, recycling, water care, and CO₂ reduction.
On 17 September 2025, Mr. Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director of RSWM Limited, spoke at the 4th Sustainable Textiles Summit hosted by PHDCCI at PHD House, New Delhi. The summit, themed “Innovating Towards a Sustainable Future,” brought together policymakers, global brands, and industry experts to address sustainability challenges in the textile sector.

Mr. Gupta shared how India’s cultural approach to reuse and resource care offers a counterpoint to fast-fashion consumption models.
He emphasized that sustainability in India is not imposed but adopted, rooted in long-standing practices of recycling, repurposing, and passing down garments.

He also outlined RSWM’s initiatives in renewable energy, biofuel, recycling polyester and PET bottles, water conservation, and zero liquid discharge.

His address reinforced RSWM’s commitment to building a circular textile economy and contributing to India’s leadership in sustainable manufacturing.
